CCAC 2022 Co-designer at Ordsall Primary School wins a Young Innovators Next Steps Award
Amazingly Aurélie Fontan, a pioneer CCAC co-design collaborator and winner in the UAL competition, Design Futures, sponsored by PANGAIA has won a further major financial award, The Young Innovators Next Steps Awards.
The win represents another milestone for Aurélie, her co-founder Meredith Wood, and her symbiotic fashion brand OSMOSE. OSMOSE works to reshape and replace the environmentally damaging synthetic dyes and colour systems used in the fashion industry, while looking to remedy the UK ecosystem by replenishing soil health and supporting regenerative agriculture.
The concept is now at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3. With the Award, Aurelie plans to work with scientists to develop her idea and move up to TRL5, before taking it to the wider market in the UK and EU.
